There's something so appealing about the most utilitarian, everyday items when you stumble upon them in another country. That sense of discovery... Which brings us to these multi-purpose cloths, hand screened in India.
Typically used as hand towels or kerchiefs, they also function beautifully as casual, oversized napkins — or use them in the manner of a Japanese furoshiki cloth to wrap a gift.
Designed to be taken to task without fanfare — pure and simple. These pure linen gingham napkins are silk-screened by hand and then finished with a simple hem.
Linen is both absorbent and lint free - no other material does it better! So that our products perform at their best, drying and polishing your dishes and glassware for many years to come, we recommend the following:
- Wash your dish cloth before the first use. We recommend several washes to activate the absorbency.
- Linen can be washed at temperatures up to 90°C. We however recommend 40°C for day to day use.
- To keep your linen dish cloth crisp and increase absorbency, iron whilst damp on the reverse of the tea towel.
