I bought the caramel & gold pouffes in 2011 and today they still look fabulous.
The caramel one definitely had a very strong smell in the beginning but it did go with time. I actually left it outside out of the weather because it was quite overwhelming in the beginning but that often happens with new products. It has completely gone & they are the most used items in the living room!
I found when filling them impossible to get the complete number of packets of beads in but stuffing extra scrunched up newspaper or sheets much more simple - gives them a decent weight too. Over the years I've had to add more occasionally as it naturally becomes compressed.
I think it might be time for some more! THEY ARE THE BEST. Thanks Lou!

Arrived quickly, looks fabulous but really smelly. Would love to know if anyone managed to get rid of the smell.

Funnily enough we have been to Morocco and bought a beautiful leather travel bag. We had it out on our balcony for 8 months with a jar of bi-carb in it in a desperate attempt to remove the smell. We ended up throwing it out as it just stank. These two pouffes smell exactly the same, so I would love to know how to get rid of the smell. I have put essential oils in the filling but that is not overcoming the smell.
